Spring is coming and so the birds are out more. It’s also nest building season. Watch this video about a Weaver bird building his nest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbWM1QAVGzs Then take a walk or look out your window and watch the birds. Ask your child: What do the birds look like? What are they doing? Why do you think there are more birds now than in the winter? What is different? Can they draw a picture of the birds that they are seeing or ones that they have seen before? If they would like they can also write to the best of their ability what their picture is about or their name. This might just look like wavy lines or scribbles. That is okay!
