One of the subjects we were working in school was getting familiar with the children’s initials. We would do things like draw their initial and have them dot paint the letter, put stickers on their letter or color their letter. You can label the letter for our child and explain that their name begins with that letter and it has a sound. Put up their letter and talk about it daily so your child gets familiar with the letter. For an extra challenge, work on all the letters in their name. What is your child learning?
