Walk, Collect, and Sort ______________________________________________________________________
Take some time to get outside today. Remember to stay 6 feet away from others. Bring a plastic bag with you and collect interesting natural items you find on the way, like leaves, rocks, sticks, etc. Talk about these items as you pick them up and observe the qualities of the objects (the texture, color, length). When you get home, dump out all your items on the floor or a table and sort them however you would like. Ask your child how they sorted them? Did they put certain items together? All the rough items together and all the smooth items together? Can they mix them up and sort them again? Can they make a picture out of the items? Send us a picture and tell us what your child did so we can share with their friends!

Tómate un tiempo para salir hoy. Recuerde mantenerse a 6 pies de distancia de los demás. Traiga una bolsa de plástico con usted y recolecte artículos naturales interesantes que encuentre en el camino, como hojas, rocas, palos, etc. Hable sobre estos artículos a medida que los recoge y observe las cualidades de los objetos (la textura, el color, la longitud) . Cuando llegue a casa, deseche todos sus artículos en el piso o en una mesa y ordénelos como desee. Pregúntele a su hijo cómo los clasificaron. ¿Pusieron ciertos artículos juntos? ¿Todos los elementos en rasposo juntos y todos los elementos suaves juntos? ¿Pueden mezclarlos y ordenarlos nuevamente? ¿Pueden hacer una foto de los artículos? ¡Envíenos una foto y cuéntenos qué hizo su hijo para que podamos compartirlo con sus amigos!
